    I was a  skinny kid in high school weighing about 110 lbs...started lifting weights when I turned 20...began competing in powerlifting meets and then went on to bodybuilding...I had no idea how to diet at first, but I saw a girl in town that won a contest and I thought " I can do that"....I did the Lee Labrada Muscle Beach in 1990 and placed 3rd in the middle weights, I weighed in at 123 lbs...I have done 9 bodybuilding shows including winning the Ms Texas in 1994, Jr. Nationals 6th place in 1998, and competed in the Strength Extravaganza in 1998 , winning 2nd in the bench for reps and placing 5th overall....I benched presses 265 raw at the Texas State Powerlifting Championships in 1997 at a bodyweight of 162, also benched 260 weighing 140 at the SW Bodybuilding Contest which I was also competing in and won 1st and overall in both contests!  I hope to compete in the next few years in the Nationals.
