Some Info about TINA JO:

Where and when were you born? Disco days in Hollywood California

What is your profession? Well, let’s see I have a medical lab tech license, medical aesthtetician license, but not working in those fields. Currently I just launched an on-line retail store :TJ’s Jeans Bar.

Were you involved in sports or fitness prior to fitness/figure and how did you get started with weight training? I have pretty much always have been physically strong. I won pretty much almost all the Ronald Reagan Challenges at my school, back in the 70’s.

Was it a goal for you to compete in fitness/figure competitions right from the beginning or was it something that grew in your mind as time went on and you saw the progress in your body? I first started working out at the Old Ronnie Lot Fitness club, and was inspired by the Fitness Icon Cory Everson.

Can you give me your competition history? I have competed in The Miss Galaxy Competitions, and then just recently In Mi. Figure INBA. That is it!

Which contest has been your biggest success; which has had the most meaning to you? In 1994 The Miss Galaxy has a great deal of meaning. Even though out of 160 girls, I barely place top 50, that contest launched my fitness modeling career.

Please tell me something about your training routine (ie: how many days per week / training split /cardio, etc.) Currently I do only 45 minutes of cardio per day. That is it. But when I do train I do synergistic muscle pairing typically with split routines for muscle pairing. I subscribe to heavy duty theory, i.e. Mike Mentzer. I save fat burning for cardio, and lift heavy to build.

What is your favorite exercise in the gym and which one you don’t like so much? Favorite exercise Bench Press, seriously. I don’t like to do “ham” biceps femoris curls.

Which body part is your best in your opinion? When in my best shape, calves, and deltoids-- tied!

If you don’t mind would you give me some stats (best lifts and some body measurements)? 34-24-34 biceps 12 12 ľ flexed

What do you enjoy about training for competition...what do you enjoy about the 'off season'? I don’t compete anymore, but what I love about getting ready for comp, is being in the most incredible shape of my life. Off-season, I love being strong and healthy.

Please describe a typical day in the life of Tina Jo Orban. Currently I do a lot of sitting in front of the computer, working on my new business. Thrilling.

Please tell me about what you do when you don’t work out ( hobbies, what do you do to relax?, etc.) I like to travel.

What do you enjoy most about the bodybuilding/fitness lifestyle? Being in great shape. Mastering control of your body takes a great deal of will power, and that can translate to other areas of your life if you desire, getting one the results they want!

Tell me something interesting about yourself, something people may be surprised to hear. I like to knit.

What are your competition goals or personal future goals? None.

Please note:

Tina Jo does not do sessions or wrestling of any kind. Please don't ask!!
