I grew up in Thorp, Wisconsin and went to school for commercial or graphic art design in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.  I have always been in sports, cheerleading, track and basketball.  In Technical college I played raquetball alot and lifted weights to stay active, then I caught the bug to compete.  I met a really nice bodybuilder (I don't even remember her name!) and that's what I wanted to do.  So I moved up to Minneapolis Minnesota to be closer to my twin sister, and then I competed in 6 shows in that area.  I placed 1^st in my 1^st show as a light weight and many more great placings after that.  I won the Middleweight title in 1996 for Minnesota state and quit bodybuilding.  I wanted a change and took some time off from competing, getting a little burned out.  Then I moved down to Tulsa, OK with my husband and competed in a state fitness show here and won the whole thing, best routine, tall class, and overall!!  Then I went to Las Vegas and placed 15^th out of 24, from their I did the Junior nationals last year and placed 6^th out of 16.  I plan to compete in the Junior nationals in Chicago, 2002 and then go onto the USA's in Las Vegas.  I also did a photo shoot with Muscle Elegance this past October 23^rd in Las Vegas.  The issue is coming out of me in March.  I can't wait!!  I do personal training here in Tulsa, OK and teach many classes, such as Power yoga, (which I love!), step, bodypump, floor aerobics and pilates.  I have a dog named sammy (a dachshund) and a 12 year old cat named Max.  We also have a black & white american pitbull (Bullet).
