I was a college softball player so weight training was always in me regimen but not as strict as it is now. Was it a goal for you to compete in Figure competitions right from the beginning or was it something that grew in your mind as time went on and you saw the progress in your body? I started dieting for a show, so I already had my mind made up. Can you give me your competition history? The show with the most meaning has to be the arnold because I came in as a rookie and placed third next to some of the best in figure Please tell me something about your training routine (ie: how many days per week / training split /cardio, etc.) I train 7 days a week with cardio twice a day, mon-legs,tues-chest,wed-bis and tris,thurs-shoulders,frid-back and hams. What is your favorite exercise in the gym and which one you don’t like so much? My favorite exercise is lunges, I don't like lat pulldowns Which body part is your best in your opinion? Legs If you don’t mind would you give me some stats (best lifts and some body measurements)? Body measurements 36,28,36 What do you enjoy about training for competition....what do you enjoy about the 'off season'? I love the way your body transforms with diet and training, I enjoy hanging out with friends and not worrying about eating things when I want them Please describe a typical day in the life of Mary Lado. Wake up 5:20am to do cardio, train clients from 7-12, train, go home or do errands, go back to the gym for 4:00 to train clients then do cardio again, then get my food ready for the next day , and last but not least check e-mails, off to bed at 10:00 Please tell me about what you do when you don’t work out (hobbies, what do you do to relax?, etc.). I like the beach to relax and I love to shop. What do you enjoy most about the bodybuilding/fitness lifestyle?
