I have trained with weights since 1983 but just to keep fit, it was not until 2003 I seriously started with bodybuilding. My first goal was just to compete for the experience, and I decided to attend Decembercupen and Luciapokalen the same year, Swedish yearly competitions. I was lucky to win my first competition as a debutant at 47; it gave me a kick to go on. I train my whole body once a week divided at 4 times, 4 sets with 8 reps and 3 or 4 different exercises on each muscle group. I try to change exercises now and then, to get some variation. Monday - Chest/shoulders Tuesday - Legs/calves Wednesday - Rest Thursday - Arms Friday - Back/stomach Saturday -Rest Sunday - Rest To keep my metabolism high I walk one hour before breakfast three times a week. Before a competition I walk or bicycle two orthree Hours per day. My best body parts are my arms, back and shoulders and my focus now is to work hard on my legs. The only difference before a contest is that I cut down on fat, carbohydrates and the amount of food. This is what I eat: Fish, shrimps, tuna, chicken, eggs and red meat with salads and vegetables. I use oil for cooking, cashew for snacks. The only complex carbohydrates I eat is oatmeal for breakfast and sometimes whole-wheat bread. Interests I love to be by the sea, spend time with my family and friends. Motto in life: The only one who is responsible for you happiness is yourself Please note: Eva does not not do sessions or wrestling of any kind. Please don't ask!! |
