Originally when I was 15 years old I asked my father for my first set of weights. As for joining a gym, my girlfriend gave me a pass back in 1986 and I haven’t stopped since then. Was it a goal for you to compete in bodybuilding competitions right from the beginning or was it something that grew in your mind as time went on and you saw the progress in your body? Grew in my mind as time went on. What was your first competition and how did you place? My first show was the Orange County Muscle Classic 1988 in San Diego and I placed first in the heavy weights And which contest has been the biggest success for you yet? Ouch, no such thing as typical… up in the early AM, to the computer to check the stock market, see where things are going, then to the email by the bunches, then off to work at the post office, done there then to the gym to train myself and one or two clients per night, then back home to eat, shower and sleep and do it again. Weekends, work on the Kasie’s Connection website and video production. That’s just the major basic stuff. Please tell me something about your daily training routine. 5 day a week weight training and 3 days of cardio in the off season. As for contest time 7days a week. Also enjoy bike riding and tennis when I can squeeze it in. How often do you train in a week? 5 days off season 7 days contest time What are the main differences when you train for a competition and in off-season? More cardio, higher reps, diet changes a bit, posing, tanning, all the good stuff If you don’t mind would you give me some stats (best lifts and some body measurements)? Biceps What is your favorite exercise in the gym and which one you don’t like so much? Don’t know about exercise, but favorite body part is shoulders and least favorite is back Judging in Women’s Bodybuilding has always been criticised in one or the other way. Please tell me your honest thoughts about today’s judging in Women’s Bodybuilding. Very subjective, always has and always will be. Too bad, sometime works in your favorite and sometimes not. Please tell me about what else you are doing when you don’t work out (profession, hobbies, etc.) I am interested in investments, (stocks, bonds, options) real estate, travel, tennis, biking, gymnastics What are your future plans for 2004/2005? 2004, pretty much over. 2005 goals, finish building my office so I have some where convenient to work out of., Competitions for bodybuilding.
