I was a dancer (ballet and jazz), 100m runner and a weight lifter.

How and when did you get involved into lifting weights?
I always liked this kind of training and the lean muscular body….so one day I said to my self "Nadia it’s time to start do body building" and I started at the age of 18th!

Was it a goal for you to compete in bodybuilding competitions right from the beginning or was it something that grew in your mind as time went on and you saw the progress in your body?
To compete in Bodybuilding competitions was my first goal!!! What I couldn’t believe is that I won the first place in my first competition!

Please describe a typical day in the life of Nadia Crow.
There is no typical day for me….the only thing that I do everyday is that I wake up at 7 a.m. and my training is at 2 p.m.

Please tell me something about your daily training routine.
I do 30-45 min weight training with very heavy weights and 30-45min cardio.

How often do you train in a week?
I do 5 days weight training and 6 days cardio sometimes when I don’t want to go to the gym I do Judo or kick boxing.

What are the main differences when you train for a competition and in off-season?
When I train for competition I am on diet and I don’t have energy to do the same heavy training that I can do when I am off season and I can eat more…also I do more cardio.

If you don’t mind would you give me some stats (best lifts and some body measurements)?
Of course
Bench press: 70kg 2 reps
Leg Press: 340kg 5 reps
Bicep curl with EZ bar: 40kg 3reps
Pull ups: 4 sets x 8 reps.

Which body part is your best in your opinion?
My legs!!!!

What is your favorite exercise in the gym and which one you don’t like so much?
Squat or leg press is my favorite exercise.
I hate all exercise for biceps.

Please tell me about what else you are doing when you don’t work out (profession, hobbies, etc.)
I like to watch DVD’s and reading books. Also I like to cook and of course I go out with friends.

What are your future plans for 2005?
To win the 1st place in the Balkan Championships and to be able to go to the European Championships.
