Where and when were you born? Sao Paulo, Brazil. 06/09/1977 What is your profession? Personal Trainer, I have Graduation in Physical Education, with specialization in Physiology of the Exercise. What kind of activities/sports did you do before you started lifting weights? I danced Ballet for more than 15 years...I was runner in the school too. How and when did you get involved into lifting weights? When I was dancer I was very slim and I needed to gain more muscle size..I was 14 years when I started..but in the University, I started to train seriously...because I got to understand the trainning process... Was it a goal for you to compete in bodybuilding competitions right from the beginning or was it something that grew in your mind as time went on and you saw the progress in your body? Yes...it grew in my mind....I already had a very good and density body before I start to compete..it was a consequense for me.. What was your first competition and how did you place? It was a state contest here, and I won. And which contest has been the biggest success for you yet? I wake up, doing cardio (jogging) or go to the gym..then I ate and start with some personal trainer lessons); in the afternoon I rest and work with more 2 clients, in the night I train or do cardio...I have a simple life... Please tell me something about your daily training routine. Normally I train with my brother, specially legs, because I need a suport to do a heavy weight squats. How often do you train in a week? Weight Trainning 5 times and cardio 6 or 7. What are the main differences when you train for a competition and in off-season? I get to keep the heavy weight even in precontest..the difference is in the amount of cardio, I do one session more per day..(and the diet..i eat much less carbs..) If you don't mind would you give me some stats (best lifts and some body measurements)? Measured (precontest): Chest: 95cm Waist: 61cm Hip: 94cm Thighs: 55cm Arm: 33cm Better Marks: Squat: 160kg Leg Press: 450kg Bench Press: 80kg Biceps Curl: 30Kg What is your best body part in your opinion? Glutes and back...what do you think? What is your favorite exercise in the gym and which one you don't like so much? I love Squats and glutes machines... I dont like rows... Judging in Women's Bodybuilding has always been criticised in one or the other way. Please tell me your honest thoughts about today's judging in Women's Bodybuilding. Yes I agree...sometimes the judgement dont have a good criteria...it is a subjective... Please tell me about what else you are doing when you don't work out. I like to travel...i love beaches and natural places...I also like to dance, but i go in the clubs only in the offseason... What are your future plans for 2005/2006? I want to compete in Nabba World in June, that will be in Brazil, in the Universe again..But in anyway I want to stay one time in US and comepte in some contests there too.
